Disclaimer
The important disclaimers, stated once and in full: who we are not, what this site is for, and where the real authority on the game lives. Last reviewed: September 2026.
1. Unofficial and unaffiliated
This site is an unofficial fan project about the Chicken Road arcade game. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to the game's developer, publisher, or any official channel in any capacity. We don't represent them, they don't review us, and neither side has ever needed the other's permission — that's what independence looks like from the inside.
2. Purpose: entertainment and information
The game is described on this site purely as entertainment: an arcade of reaction, timing and nerve, played for fun. Every article, guide and table here is fan commentary and editorial information — nothing more. The site exists to explain the game honestly, not to promote, oversell or dramatize it.
3. The info panel is the authority
Exact numbers — lane counts, tempo values, score behavior per difficulty mode — are published by the game itself in its info panel. Our tables are editorial summaries and may lag behind game versions. When our commentary and the game's panel disagree, the panel wins every time, without appeal. See the difficulty modes table for how we apply this.
4. No professional advice
The guides are one desk's editorial judgment about an arcade game, offered in the same spirit as a friend's tips over a shared hobby. They are not professional advice of any kind, and the desk is aware of how funny the phrase "professional lane-crossing advice" sounds. That's partly why it stays out of print.
5. Trademarks
The game's name, design and any associated materials belong to their respective owners. This site uses the name descriptively, as fan commentary, and claims no rights over any of it. The site's own writing, layout and styling are the fan project's work.
6. External content
Where we reference the game's own pages or a developer's materials, those live outside this site. We don't control their content, availability or current form.
If anything here seems to overstate what we are, the contact form takes corrections — they outrank compliments at this desk.
